IMD forecast of light rains in parts of Gujarat on 1st, 2nd, 3rd March

Gandhinagar: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released forecast of possibility of light rains in parts of Gujarat on 1st, 2nd and 3rd March.

IMD has in its latest bulletin of State forecast stated that a trough runs from northeast Arabian sea to East Rajasthan across central parts of Gujarat at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

This may bring light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Chhota Udepur and in the districts of Saurashtra namely Botad and Surendranagar during 1st March 8.30 am to 2nd March 8.30 am.

Dry weather is very likely in the remaining districts of Gujarat.

For 2nd March 8.30 am to 3rd March 8.30 am, IMD has in its bulletin stated that lifhg rain is vey likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region namely Valsad and Navsari and in the districts of Saurashtra namely Gir Somnath. Dry weather is very likely in the remaining districts of the State.

In its bulletin for next five days, IMD has predicted dry weather across Gujarat barring these three days – 1st, 2nd and 3rd March. DeshGujarat
