AMC inks pact with World Bank for projects funded by Rs. 3000 crore loan

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has signed an agreement with the World Bank as part of the Gujarat Resilience City Development Programme (GRCDP). The civic body has provided the bank with updates on various infrastructure projects currently underway, financed through a loan of Rs 3,000 crore.
The standing committee of the AMC has approved projects totaling Rs 778.15 crore, specifically for the construction of a sewage treatment plant (STP) with a daily capacity of 375 million liters at Vasna.
The World Bank has also given the green light for a feasibility report and a detailed project report for the construction of a 424 MLD plant at Pirana. DeshGujarat
