ECI reshuffles top cops in Gujarat ahead of Lok Sabha Polls

Gandhinagar: The election commission on Monday evening appointed new officials to take over duties at police stations where individuals have been placed on ‘leave reserve’ in accordance with the moral code of conduct for the Lok Sabha polls.
JCP Ajay Chaudhari from the special branch has been assigned responsibility for sector one, previously overseen by Chirag Koradia. The role of Ahmedabad range IG, previously held by Paramveer Singh, has been passed on to JCP Brijesh Jha for sector two.
Mahindra Bagadia, the SP of Kutch, has taken over the border range position from I G J R Mothaliya. JCB Ajit Rajian will assume the responsibility of DCB crime, replacing Chaitanya Mandlik.
DCP Tarun Duggal is now in charge of DCP Zone 1, succeeding Lavina Sinha. DySP of group four SRP will fill the role previously held by Manish Singh of SRP, while DySP of group 11 SRP will assume command of SRP group 11, replacing Usha Rada. DeshGujarat
