Patel, Patil, Sanghavi, Jay Shah join Amit Shah’s road-show in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah’s road-show in Ahmedabad was joined by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil, MoS Home Harsh Sanghavi, and Amit Shah’s son and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.
While Patel and Patil were with Shah on the road-show vehicle, Harsh Sanghavi and Jay Shah chose to walk ahead of the road-show vehicle and at times they could be seen running also when the road-show vehicle achieved some speed.
There are seven assembly segments under Shah’s Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. Shah’s separate road shows were held in 6 assembly constituencies – Kalol, Sanand, Ghatlodia, Vejalpur, Naranpura, and Sabarmati. Shah is going to file a nomination as a BJP candidate tomorrow in Gandhinagar. Shah is the first-time Lok Sabha MP. He was in the Rajya Sabha previously.
In each roadshow, Shah was accompanied by the local MLA. Shah kept rose petals with him above the roadshow vehicles. He would throw rose petals at the public during a road show. He also gave brief interviews to TV news channels from the roadshow vehicles.
The only public meeting ahead of filing the nomination form tomorrow will be held today at Vejalpur, the assembly seat that a younger MLA Amit Thaker represents.
Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat has a mix of urban and rural areas, a mix of the areas of Ahmedabad city, district, and Gandhinagar city and district. Patel, Patil, and Sanghavi flew from Surat to Ahmedabad to attend the road-show of Shah. Patil will return to Surat tomorrow to file his nomination form as Navsari Lok Sabha candidate of BJP.
