Amreli: After concerns about water for the animals in Gir Jungle amid the scorching summer heat, the forest department has announced that they have created 91 artificial water points in Amreli district and Bhavnagar district. These water points provide ample water to the Asiatic lions and other animals in the Shetrunjay Hills Reserve Forest Area.
A senior forest officer said that currently, around 50 water points are being used in Amreli district, and 70 more points have been made this year. These points are regularly checked and maintained by the forest department. DeshGujarat
