Gandhinagar: The monsoon is progressing to cover the entire state of Gujarat and will do so in the next 2-3 days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest forecast has predicted light to moderate rain across the entire state, while heavy rainfall is likely in some districts during the period from June 26th to June 30th.
Here are the places that are likely to get heavy rain during the 5 days:
June 26th: Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of Gujarat region, namely Banaskantha, Patan, Sabarkantha, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dangs, and Tapi; in the districts of Saurashtra-Kutch, namely Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Kutch, and in Diu.
June 27th: Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of Gujarat region, namely Banaskantha, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra-Kutch, namely Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Dwarka, and Gir Somnath.
June 28th: Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of Gujarat region, namely Surat, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli.
June 29th: Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of Gujarat region, namely Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, and in Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli.
