Nathwani presents Anant-Radhika wedding invitation to Gujarat CM

Gandhinagar: Parimal Nathwani, Director of Corporate Affairs at Reliance Industries Limited and Rajya Sabha MP, today extended the invitation for the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Nathwani gave the grand luxurious invite to the CM, whose video had gone viral on social media.

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, will wed at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12.

Nathwani took to Facebook and wrote, “With immense pleasure, I extended an invitation to the Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel, for the joyous union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.”

The main wedding ceremonies will commence on July 12, featuring the Shubh Vivah (wedding function). Guests are advised to dress in Indian traditional attire. On July 13, the day of Shubh Aashirwad, the suggested dress code is Indian formal. The Mangal Utsav (wedding reception) will be held on July 14, with the dress code being Indian chic.

All these events will take place at the Jio World Centre in BKC, adhering to traditional Vedic Hindu standards for the main wedding functions and ceremonies.

The invitation comes in a luxurious red box resembling a temple closet, adorned with lights. When opened, a small silver temple slides out, playing the Vishnu Sahastranamam Stotra. The silver temple is decorated with sculptures of Gods Vishnu, Ganapati, Radha-Krishna, and Goddess Durga.

The invitation card itself is crafted from silver with intricate engravings and is accompanied by a silver box. Upon opening the card, there is a portrait of Lord Vishnu, followed by five more pages. Each page features a deity’s portrait on the left and event details on the right.

Inside the silver box are wedding invitation favors, including a Vaishnava Tilak. When the box is opened, the Vishnu Stotra plays. The box contains items such as a showpiece silver temple with four gold-plated deities, an embroidered napkin with the initials ‘A’ and ‘R,’ a silver box, and a shawl. This unique invitation reflects the couple’s commitment to tradition and luxury.

The invitation, captured in a video that went viral online, was from the house of the Karnataka Chief Minister, as his name was clearly visible on the invitation in one social media post. DeshGujarat
