44-year old man held for drinking liquor in Indigo Mumbai – Rajkot flight

Rajkot: A 44-year old man was booked for drinking liquor in flight to Rajkot. Accused Bhavesh Vashrambhai Kayada (Patel) was travelling from Mumbai to Rajkot hirasar airport in Indigo Airlines flight 6E5321. According to the police complaint, he was drinking liquor in the flight when the aircraft was in the air. The security assistant manager Gayatri Sakiya informed Airport police about this, after which Assistant Police Sub Inspector YK Chauhan led police staff reached the departure gate of the airport. It was found that Bhavesh Kayada had no permit to consume liquor and he was unable to keep balance of his body under impact of liquor. Police booked Bhavesh under Prohibition act’s section 66 B, 85.
