Gujarat government transfers, appoint 18 IAS officers; here’s the list

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has today announced transfers of 18 officers of Indian Administrative Service(IAS). Among major highlights, Manoj Kumar Das is appointed in the Chief Minister’s Office. Pankaj Joshi is given additional charge of ACS Ports & Transport. Mukesh Kumar is out and Sunaina Tomar replaces him as ACS Education. Dr. Jayanti Ravi is back to Gujarat as ACS Revenue. Rajeev Topno is back to Gujarat as Chief Commissioner of State tax. SJ Haidar is out from Industries and Mines and becomes ACS Energy & petrochemicals. Read more below:
(1)Smt. Sunaina Tomar, IAS (RR:GJ:1989), Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Sachivalaya,
Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Education Department (Higher & Technical Education),
Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Shri Mukesh Kumar, IAS transferred. Smt. Sunaina Tomar, IAS (RR:GJ:1989) would hold additional charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar until further orders.
(2)Shri Pankaj Joshi, IAS (RR:GJ:1989), Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar would hold additional charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Ports & Transport Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar until further orders relieving Shri Manoj Kumar Das, IAS of additional charge of that post.
(3)Shri Manoj Kumar Das, IAS (RR:GJ:1990), Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar. Shri Manoj Kumar Das, IAS (RR:GJ:1990) would hold additional charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar until further orders relieving Shri Amrendra Kumar Rakesh, IAS of additional charge of that post.
(4)Dr. Jayanti S. Ravi, IAS (RR:GJ:1991), on her repatriation to the State Cadre, is appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Shri Manoj Kumar Das, IAS transferred. Shri Swaroop P., IAS (RR:GJ:2003) would hold additional charge of the post of Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar till Dr. Jayanti S. Ravi, IAS assumes her charge as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.
(5)Dr. Anju Sharma, IAS (RR:GJ:1991), Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Shri Amrendra Kumar Rakesh, IAS, who retires from Indian Administrative Service on 31.07.2024 (Α.Ν.).
(6)Shri S.J. Haider, IAS (RR:GJ:1991), Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Industries & Mines Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Energy & Petrochemicals Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Ms. Mamta Verma, IAS transferred.
(7)Shri Jagdish Prasad Gupta, IAS (RR:GJ:1991), Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Finance Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Tribal Development Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Dr. S. Murali Krishna, IAS transferred.
(8)Dr. T. Natarajan, IAS (RR:GJ:1996), on his repatriation to the State Cadre, is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Shri Jagdish Prasad Gupta, IAS transferred. Shri Rajeev Topno, IAS (RR:GJ:1996) would hold additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar till Dr. T. Natarajan, IAS assumes his charge as Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.
(9)Ms. Mamta Verma, IAS (RR:GJ:1996), Principal Secretary to Government, Energy & Petrochemicals Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Industries & Mines Department vice Shri S.J. Haider, IAS transferred.
(10) Shri Mukesh Kumar, IAS (RR:GJ:1996), Principal Secretary to Government, Education Department (Higher & Technical Education), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Education Department (Primary & Secondary Education), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Dr. Vinod Ramachandra Rao, IAS transferred.
(11) Shri Rajeev Topno, IAS (RR:GJ:1996), on his repatriation to the State Cadre, is appointed as Chief Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad relieving Ms. Arti Kanwar, IAS of additional charge of that post.
(12)Dr. S. Murali Krishna, IAS (RR:GJ:1998), Principal Secretary to Government, Tribal Development Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of State Election Commission for appointment as Officer on Special Duty to Commissioner, State Election Commission, Gandhinagar.
(13)Dr. Vinod Ramachandra Rao, IAS (RR:GJ:2000), Secretary to Government, Education Department (Primary & Secondary Education), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Secretary to Government, Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Dr. Anju Sharma, IAS transferred.
(14)Shri Anupam Anand, IAS (RR:GJ:2000), Commissioner of Labour, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Commissioner of Transport, Gandhinagar relieving Shri Rajesh Manjhu, IAS of additional charge of that post.
Shri Anupam Anand, IAS (RR:GJ:2000) would hold additional charge of the post of Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, Ahmedabad until further orders vice Shri A.M. Sharma, IAS transferred.
(15)Shri Rajesh Manjhu, IAS (RR:GJ:2004), Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Revenue Inspection Commissioner & Ex-officio Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar relieving Ms. Mona K. Khandhar, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(18)Shri A.M. Sharma, IAS (SCS:GJ:2008), Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, Ahmedabad is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, Gandhinagar vice Shri Rajesh Manjhu, IAS transferred.
