Navsari: Due to closure of roads following overtopping of river waters of Purna and Ambika, the Navsari district administration has declared holiday for all Anganwadi, primary, secondary and higher scondary schools across Navsari municipality and taluka area and Gandevi taluka. Over 1700 persons are rescued from low lying areas to safer places and taken to shelters where food and other items are arranged for them.
