Bus en route to Surat from Nashik overturns in Valsad; 30 injured

Vaslsad: A luxury bus carrying pilgrims from the Shirdi Saibaba Temple in Nashik of Maharashtra was en route to Surat when it overturned after the driver lost control near Kumbh Ghat, close to Mandwa village in Kaprada. More than 30 passengers on the bus sustained minor injuries in the accident, while the driver fled the scene.
Locals and pedestrians, upon learning of the accident, rushed to assist the injured. They informed the Kaprada police and the 108 emergency service. A team from 108 was called to transport the injured to nearby hospitals. The victims were initially taken to Kaprada Govt Hospital before being transferred to Dharampur Govt Hospital and Valsad Civil Hospital for further treatment.
Upon being notified of the incident, the Kaprada police immediately arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident and clear the bus that was blocking traffic. Efforts are underway to file a complaint against the driver of the Sadguru Shivam Travels luxury bus, who fled after the accident. DeshGujarat
