SpiceJet to Resume Kandla–Delhi Flight Service from October 26
October 01, 2025
Kandla: Air connectivity between Kandla and the national capital is set to improve, as SpiceJet has announced the launch of a new flight service to Delhi starting October 26.
The airline will operate flights on the Kandla–Delhi sector five days a week — Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday — until March. Flight SG 2952 will depart from Delhi at 7:40 am and arrive at Kandla at 9:55 am, while the return flight SG 2953 will take off from Kandla at 10:25 am and reach Delhi by 12:25 pm.
The resumption of the route comes after repeated demands from passengers and businesses in the region. Previously, flights between Kandla and Delhi had been introduced but were often disrupted by frequent cancellations, leading to their eventual suspension.
Currently, Kandla Airport has limited air connectivity, with only one flight operating to Mumbai. Earlier, the airport had two flights to Mumbai and one each to Delhi and Ahmedabad. The addition of the Delhi service is expected to provide significant relief to travelers who have long awaited direct access to the capital.
The new flight is anticipated to not only benefit business communities in Kutch and nearby areas but also improve overall connectivity for passengers traveling to and from the region.
