AMC hikes entry ticket rates for Ahmedabad Flower Show 2026

Ahmedabad: Just like every year, Amdavadis are waiting for the annual Flower Show organised by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC), but this year visitors will have to pay higher ticket prices to witness the show.

As per the recommendations made by the Recreation Committee, the originally proposed ticket rates have been revised for general visitors. Entry tickets for visitors aged above 12 years will now be priced at ₹80 from Monday to Friday, instead of the earlier proposed ₹120, though this is a hike from last year’s prices. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the revised ticket rate will be ₹100.

In addition, AMC has introduced a ‘prime slot’ facility for visitors seeking to avoid crowds, with tickets priced at ₹500. The prime time slots will be from 8 am to 9 am and from 10 pm to 11 pm.

At the same time, AMC has decided to continue providing free entry to students studying in AMC-run schools on all days. Meanwhile, students from non-AMC schools will be allowed entry at a concessional rate of ₹10, limited to weekdays between 9 am and 1 pm.

Furthermore, entry to the flower show will be completely free for all children aged 12 years and below, persons with disabilities, and defence personnel. The Standing Committee is expected to grant final approval to the revised rates, while other arrangements for the event will remain unchanged.

The flower show to be held in January 2026 will feature attractive stupas and replicas created using flowers from India and abroad, which are expected to be a major draw for visitors in Ahmedabad. DeshGujarat
