Ram singh Sodho meets Narendra Modi to discuss the issues of Pakistani Hindus

Ram Singh Sodho, former MLA of Pakistan’s Sindh province who lives in Kutch for last few years called on Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar and discussed range of issues minority Hindus of Pakistan face in Pakistan and in India.

Sodha said the issue of Long Term Visa(LTV) was one of the main agendas of meeting. He said Pakistani Hindus who visit Kutch are granted only short term visas. Actually they should be provided LTV.

Sodha also discussed the issue of citizenship to Pakistani Hindus settled in India. He was of opinion that earlier practice of granting citizenship at Collector level should be resumed.

Sodha said the Chief Minister told him, “my doors are always open for you for any issue pertaining to Hindus in Pakistan.”

Sodha said the Chief Minister also inquired about level of winter at present in Kutch.

Ramsinh Sodha migrated to India when he was sitting MLA representing Mithi seat of Sindh province. He first met Narendra Modi in August this year in Kutch and spoke briefly about the issues Hindus face in Pakistan. Modi had invited him to Gandhinagar for detail meeting on this subject.
