Two ST buses torched, third attacked at 3 places, role of Patidars suspected

In 20-hour period second State Transport(ST) bus has been torched by unidentified persons possibly belonging to Patidar community agitators in near Botad town.
GSRTC operated ST bus was on Sanali – Botad route when it was attacked by stones near Turkha and later was torched.
Superitendent of Police and DySP rushed to the spot.
Earlier on Saturday night Patidar agitators set ablaze another ST bus near Lathidar in Botad belt.

Another ST bus was was attacked with stones near Atkot in Rajkot belt.
One ST bus was torched last week in Patidar dominated Sarthana area of Surat. GSRTC has diverted buses to another route in this area.
None is injured in these incidents, as Patidar agitators intend to cause damage to government property only. Buses moving in Patidar dominated rural areas during dark hours become easy target.
