Ahmedabad: The Sabarmati river stretch within Ahmedabad will remain without water for nearly two-and-a-half months, from April 1 to June 15, 2026, as the state irrigation department has decided to completely empty the Vasna Barrage to undertake major repair work and replace several gates.
