Surat: The Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) is set to address the issue of stray cattle by purchasing an additional 20,000 Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips. These chips are part of a new policy mandated by the High Court to track and manage stray cattle. To comply with this policy, SMC will procure 20,000 more injectable RFID chips, tag kits, and visual ear tags at a cost of Rs 43 lakh.
