VMC issues notice to cattle owners as biker dies after colliding with cow

Vadodara: The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has issued notices to 15 cattle sheds following the death of a biker in an accident in the Mehsananagar area on Sunday morning involving a cow.
The accident occurred around 3 am when the victim, 37-year-old Sandeep Negi, a resident of Mangaldarshan Society on New Sama Road, was returning home after work and had stopped briefly to meet a friend. Later, Negi’s motorcycle hit a cow sitting in the middle of the road near the Mehsananagar Garba ground. After hitting the cow, he lost control, collided with the road divider, and sustained a fatal head injury, dying on the spot.
In a similar incident in the Soma Taklav area on the same night, another biker was injured after colliding with a stray animal that suddenly appeared on the road. DeshGujarat
