Ahmedabad, 25 April 2013

Yog Guru Baba Ramdev will host a grand function on Friday at Haridwar on the occasion of opening of his Acharya Gurukul. Children will learn Sanskrit as well as English in this school which is going to be opened by Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi in presence of large number of saints from all over India, including Shri Morari Bapu , Shri Rameshbhai Oza,Dr Pranav Pandya, the current head of the Gayatri Parivar movement of late Pandit Ram Sharma, Virendra Hegde, the most popular spiritual leader of Karnataka.

A day before the function, Shri Ramdev spoke to a TV channel and replied questions on Modi and more. Following are glimpses of that interview:

Advani is baap, happy with son Modi’s progress

Advaniji is like a father of Narendrabhai and Narendrabhai is like his son. When son progresses, father happily asks him to go ahead. Why you(media people) want to make them fight with each other?

Wholesale and not retail voting in 2014

I have so far addressed 11 crore Indians. Everyday my events are attended by one lakh people. My organization is active at booth level. I will start my India-wide yatra from Mahatma Gandhi’s birth day – 2nd October this year, and will not end the yatra till the time there’s new government in place in Delhi. Our movement is to ensure crores of votes in favor of a good government in centre and 300 quality member of parliaments. In 2014, a new chapter will begin in the history of Bharat. We are going to impact crores of votes. Voting right is generally exercised in retail, but this time there will be wholesale voting.

On NaMo as PM

Narendra Modi is common person who was once working in a tea stall. Good, if such a person come ahead and lead the nation. Saints in Bharat have always accepted and endorsed common persons. Narendra Modi is a common man. He belongs to backward class of this society. Saints will happily hug and welcome him.
