August 27, 2007
Gandhinagar, DeshGujarat
Recently there was news in several newspapers and Indian national electronic media about Narendra Modi government compelling cable operators to show c.d. of Gujarat government’s propaganda film.
Here is that c.d. which government of Gujarat’s entertainment tax department has ordered to show on cable networks across the state with much departmental pressure. Interesting to note that entertainment tax department is a government body which deals with cable operator’s tax collections per connection so in most of the cases cable operators can’t dare to deny or disobey department’s order.
This 42 minute c.d. film was made on the occasion of completion of five years of Narendra Modi regime. It has a story of young NRI Gujarati visiting his native village in Gujarat back from foreign land. This young man with his foreigner girlfriend comes to know about how Gujarat has changed in the rule of Narendra Modi’s government step by step in different avenues.
