DeshGujarat.Com has complete and most authentic list of victims of 26th July serial bombs explosions in Ahmedabad. This list is updated and it also includes deaths during medical treatment. This list is the most authentic one because it is based on postmortems performed at Civil hospital and V.S. hospital.

For any blast related death, postmortem is mandatory and when it comes to total figure of deaths, we should only believe figures from postmortem offices and not from any other source. 26th July’s Ahmedabad blasts related postmortems were performed only at two places in Ahmedabad; Civil hospital and V.S. hospital. Among all 26th of July, Ahmedabad blasts related deaths, 18 were from Asarva area including Civil hospital campus of Ahmedabad. Some of them had arrived to volunteer at Trauma center when blast victims from other parts of city were coming in.

Among all deaths one Mohammad Israr(8) was only non-Hindu. He was injured in Narol bomb blast while he was passing from there with his mother. Local Hindus soon helped him and admitted him in V.S. hospital. Mohammad died on 31st of July in V.S. hospital.

Age of victims ranges from unborn child of late mrs.Kinjal Shah to 70 year old man Kanubhai Bhedani.

Though most of the victims were from Ahmedabad, some were from other places of Gujarat too as Civil hospital serves as final nod for poor patients across Gujarat. Victim Himanshu Chhaya was from Vadodara, Rohit Solanki was from Kapadvanj, Mansukhbhai was from Patanaa village near Bhavnagar’s Valabhipur, Sanket Andhariya was from Bhavnagar, Kinjal and Prerak Shah were originally from Modasa in Sabarkantha, Ramanbhai Prajapati was from Dehgam.

Victims Nitinbhai Patel, Rohit Solanki, Vinod Patni and Rajesh Dave,Ishwar Madhabhai Chavda, Bhavesh Rameshbhai Kabira, Rohan Dushyantbhai Vyas, Mohammad Israr, Dineshbhai Ray, Hasumatiben Kadiya, Kantibhai Hirabhai Prajapati, Sunil Kakade, Devkumar Lodh died during treatment. They were already in critical condition when taken to the treatment. Vinodbhai who died on 30th of July was 96% burnt Kantobhai Prajapati was 70% burnt when admitted soon after the blast. Mohammad Israr had injury in brain and was on ventilator after bomb blast.

Dead bodies of Bhagvanbhai Gajera, Nandangiri Bhalchandragiri Goswami, Ketankumar Surendrakumar Bhagora, Purushottambhai, Roshan, Ashvin and Shradddha were identified lately.

Talking to DeshGujarat.Com, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad’s postmortem in charge Dr. Satapara said “Faces of all the bodies were almost intact. It was easier to identify the bodies. Now only one blast related body is unidentified. It is a Hindu male’s body. It was brought here at Civil hospital from Ramol police station area.”

Meanwhile possibility of Suicide bombing involved in 26th July’s Trauma center attack was ruled out as timer was found from the site of the blast and also as no Muslim dead body was found from the site. Police and postmortem people differentiate between Hindu and Muslim bodies by checking ‘Sunnat’ on the male’s body.
