After Ahmedabad, Surat and Jamnagar, the next lake development project in Gujarat will take place in Vapi town of south Gujarat.

Gujarat government has taken a decision to allocate Rs 5 crore fund for this project under Swarnim Jayanti Shaheri Vikas Yojana.

The government has approved Rs 39.30 crore for footpath, roads in private societies through public private partnership model in Vadodara city under Swarminy Janayti Yojana.
