Following SpiceJet’s low fare offer for three days, India’s top airline Indigo too has announced low fare offer for limited period.

While Ahmedabad-Delhi one-way journey tickets are available for around 2,500, Ahmedabad-Mumbai tickets(one-way journey) are available for around Rs. 2,000 during offer period.

The offer is only for journey between 19 July-30 September period. Tickets are needed to be booked by 19 June 11.59 pm to take advantage of this offer.

Author’s note: We visited both SpiceJet and Indigo websites to have an experience of offer. Ideally Indigo offer should be considered better than SpiceJet because Indigo runs more planes on Ahmedabad-Mumbai, Ahmedabad-Delhi routes compared to SpiceJet, and therefore travelers have choice of suitable timing of flight with Indigo. But we found Indigo is offering low fare to only limited flights.

Like say, Indigo runs four flights on Mumbai-Ahmedabad route but the offer of Rs. 1,998 all inclusive is limited to just 10.15 pm-11.20 pm flight. Similarly on Ahmedabad-Mumbai route the low fare offer is available only in early morning flight which departs at 5.45 am. Yes, but if you choose the date of journey between 16-30 September, the cheapest flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai is available for Rs. 1964 only and timing too is good. It’s 1:35 pm-2:50 pm journey.

On Ahmedabad-Delhi route, Indigo offers 4 flights/day. Of them just one 7.50 -9.20 pm flight is available for low fare offer Rs. 2499. Indigo offers Ahmedabad-Delhi low fare ticket for Rs. 2499 till 24 September period as of now. On Delhi-Ahmedabad route, Indigo offers Rs. 2499 fare for only one 6.40-8.10 pm flight.
