Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today called on Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel in Gujarat capital Gandhinagar at Swarnim Sankul – 1.

Yadav who arrived at Sardar Patel airport at around 2.30 pm drove to Gandhinagar to meet Gujarat Chief Minister.

Yadav was received by senior bureaucrat of Chief Minister’s office at Swarnim Sankul -1. He spent 45 minutes with Gujarat Chief Minister.

He refused to share the details of meeting and said that he was here to attend a wedding ceremony, and meeting with Gujarat CM was a courtesy visit.

Official statement from Gujarat Chief Minister’s office on this meeting is still awaited.

It should be noted that Akhilesh and his father and Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav both are in Ahmedabad to attend the wedding ceremony of former Medical Council of India(MCI) Chief Ketan Desai’s daughter. It is believed that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu too will arrive in Ahmedabad to attend this wedding function.

Meanwhile, while speaking to media persons, Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said that Prime Minister is working hard and he has reached today’s position through his hard work.

Mulayamsinh further said that one who works hard in people gets success.

He however questioned fulfillment of promises made by Modi during election campaign.

Yadavs are staying in Gateway hotel Ummed of Taj group during their Ahmedabad visit.
