6 wards in red zone, 42 in Orange zone in Ahmedabad
April 28, 2020
Ahmedabad: The City of Ahmedabad has no Covid19 green zone, not a single. The AMC Commissioner today in his briefing said that city’s 6 wards are red zones. They are Jamalpur, Khadia, Dariaypur, Shahpur in Central zone and Danilimda and Baherampura in Southern zone. There are 42 other wards that are in Orange zones. Red zones, if remain red zones beyond 3rd May, in all likelihood, may not see reopening of shops and businesses.
If Red zone has no new Covid19 case detected continuously for 14 days, it becomes Orange zone. If Orange zone has no new Covid19 case detected for 14 days, it is declared a Green zone. If Green zone has even a single case of Covid19, it is declared as Orange zone. If Orange zone has more cases, it is declared as Red zone.
