BJP declares its candidate for Morva Hadaf by-poll

Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Nishaben Manharsinh Suthar as its candiate for Morva Hadaf assembly seat by-poll in Gujarat, polling for which is scheduled to take place next month. Nimishaben has been elected from this seat in the past as BJP candidate.
The seat is reserved for Schedule Tribe (ST). Congress party has fielded Suresh Chhaganbhai Katara as its candidate on this seat. Katara is Sarpanch of a village in Morva Hadaf taluka. Morva Hadaf was previously won by an independent candidate. The seat after its formation was for the first time in year 2012 Gujarat assembly general elections won by Congress candidate Savita Khant. In year 2013 by-poll, it was won by BJP candidate Nimisha Sutar.
