Screenshot of Gujarat AAP leader’s deleted tweet creates outrage among tweeples

Gandhinagar: Aam Admi Party (AAP) leaders in Gujarat continue to be in discussion for wrong reason. Screenshot of a deleted tweet by one of two top leaders of AAP in Gujarat Isudan Gadhvi, claiming the ‘Bhakts’ (a dharmik term used in Hinduism for devotees) as pigs has resulted in outrage on social media. Gadhvi had to delete his tweet later but he couldn’t escape the outrage.

Isudan Gadhvi had posted a tweet criticizing the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) government for the price-hike in petrol and diesel, in which he claimed the Bhakts as ‘pigs’. The outrage among other Twitter users regarding the same was noticeable in many tweets and facebook posts.

In one of tweets posted along with a screenshot of the deleted tweet of Isudan Gadhvi, it was mentioned: “People of Gujarat have shown AAP Gujarat their place. AAP member ishudan Gadhvi has to delete a tweet where he called BJP supported “Pigs”. He can’t convince people so he has started abusing people.”

The outrage among others is visible in the comments below this tweet. In one of those comments, a user has shared a video of AAP Gujarat president Gopal Italia showing how to make bombs from PVC pipes in which he addresses BJP members as ‘Pigs’. It is written in the comment, “This is not the first time people in AAP have used such words.” Another comment reads that “He called entire Hindu religion as Pig”

In a quote tweet of Isudan Gadhvi’s deleted tweet in Gujarati, it is stated that “Who are you talking to? Height can not be achieved by using low level language. It will be good if you can speak words suitable to a real Gadhvi”

Several users have also shown anger towards him for usage of such a word for Bhakts which is a Dharmik Term for Hindus. It was mentioned in a tweet that “AAP Gujarat leader is calling Bhakts (Dharmik Term) as pigs. Can he use same word for Namazi?”
