A Gujarati Spiderman walks to Bhairav Jap peak of Girnar; Video goes viral

Junagadh: The video of a man climbing and coming down from Bhairav Jap peak on Girnar within around 4 minutes has gone viral on social media.

The Bhairav Jap peak on Girnar has a straight climb. The person named Prem Kachhadiya, from Vadal in Junagadh district climbs the Bhairav Jap peak three to four times every month. He is currently serving as electrician in Seva Das Bapu Ashram located at Girnar. He also repairs electricity faults at free cost in other Ashrams located at Girnar. He said that he had climbed at Bhairav Jap for the first time 20 years ago. He said that his legs had been injured in an accident on two-wheeler but he has fully recovered at present with Bhairav Dada’s grace.

He informed that the place of Bhairav Jap is restricted by the sadhus. The permission should be taken from Seva Das Bapu’s Ashram to go there. The permission is only granted to those who are familiar with the place. It is not given to the unfamiliar people. Bhairav Jap is a peak situated near Seva Das Ashram, which resembles the shape of a nose in the picture of Girnar.
