Rajkot: The people of Rajkot city will get drinking water supply for 20-minutes daily till monsoon thanks to fresh supply of 200 MCFT Narmada water to Nyari dam under SAUNI Yojana.

Rajkot mayor Dr Pradip Dav had written a letter to the state government on 10th January 2022 demanding the additional water supply. After starting the water supply to Aji dam earlier, the state government has now started it for Nyari dam today under SAUNI Yojna.

The Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) had demanded 700 MCFT water supply in Aji dam and 350 MCFT in Nyari dam. The state government has approved water supply of 200 MCFT in Nyari dam. DeshGujarat
