5 arrested in Navsari for posting messages on social media platforms to create communal tension

Navasari: The Navsari police have taken swift action against five individuals and sent them behind bars under the Cyber Crime Act for allegedly trying to create communal tension between Hindus and Muslims by posting inflammatory messages on social media platforms such as Facebook and Whatsapp.
Navsari town PSI Pravin Ramjibhai Karen has booked an offence against Abdul Kadir Mehboon Saiyed (resident of Hidayatnagar, Navsari), Aftab Salim Miyan Danti ( resident of Nashilporgam, Navsari), Mohammed Shaukatali Navsarka (resident of Moldharagam, Khari Paliyu, Navsari), Imran Habibkhan Pathan (resident of Chopdar Street, Juna Thana, Navsari), and Mohsin Mehboob Saiyed under the IT Act and arrested them within hours of the matter coming to light.
