Bridge city Surat to get 12 more bridges

Surat: Bridge city Surat will get 11 more flyover bridges and one bridge over coastal channel. This announcement has been made in the final budget of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) for financial year 2024-25 this week.
In Rander area, three flyovers will be built at three different locations. A bridge over river Tapi connecting Amroli and Katargam areas will be widened. In Pal area, flyovers will be built at RTO junction, Rushabh char rasta and Ramnagar. Another flyover will be built on Udhna – Magdalla road on Bread liner junction from Bhatar side in addition to existing flyover bridge at Anuvrat dwar junction.
A new flyover bridge in Piplod will be built at SVNIT junction and Kargil chowk junction. On Udhna Magdalla road, flyover bridges will be built at Gandhi Kutir junction and Udhna tran rasta. Among newly added areas, a sea channel bridge will be built over Talangpur-Umber. Also, a flyover will be built on Dabholi char rasta junction from Akhand Anand college junction. DeshGujarat
