Agri minister’s test couldn’t be done as GG Hospital’s MRI Machine was out of service

Jamnagar: Agriculture Minister Raghavjibhai Patel had to be shifted from Jamnagar based government run GG hospital to Rajkot based private hospital after he suffered a brain stroke, because the Rs. 13 crore MRI machine installed last year in the GG hospital was not in working condition.

It is learnt that the MRI machine is non-functional for last over a fortnight in GG hospital. In absence of functional MRI machine in government hospital, the needy patients need to go to private centres.

Agriculture minister Raghavjibhai Patel suffered a brain stroke during ‘Gaon chale’ campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was first taken to Jamnagar based GG hospital, as it was nearby.
