Morbi: Appointment of Kishor Chikhaliya as Morbi Congress district congress chief has not gone well with outgoing district Congress chief.

In another instance of infighting in Congress, a press conference was held by former district Congress chief and his supporters in which they protested the new appointment of Chikhaliya as district party chief.

They said Chikhaliya has rebelled against the Congress party twice in the past and also became chairman of the executive committee and district panchayat chief by going against the party’s mandate. They alleged that Chikhaliya had colluded with the BJP in the past due to which Congress had to lose the winning seat of Morbi.
