Slab collapse in under-construction hospital in Morbi; 5 workers rescued

Morbi: A section of an under-construction medical college in Morbi collapsed on Friday evening, resulting in injuries to at least four workers. The incident occurred at around 8 pm while workers were engaged in the roof-filling process on the first floor of the new building. During the filling work, a slab collapsed, causing injuries to the workers. The injured workers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Devendra Singh Jadeja, the Fire Officer in Morbi, explained that they received a call around 8 pm regarding the collapse and successfully rescued four individuals. One person remained trapped, and the rescue team worked until 3 am to free him, after which he was referred to a hospital. DeshGujarat
