Letter in support of Parshottam Rupala goes viral

Rajkot: A letter purportedly from the youth of the Kshatriya community in support of Union Minister Parshottam Rupala has gone viral on social media.

Titled “How valid is the protest against Shree Parshottam Rupala Saheb,” the 7-point letter argues various aspects. Firstly, it questions the relevance of delving into caste-related issues during the era of Hindutva and Ram Rajya.

Secondly, it emphasizes that one’s pride in their caste should never outweigh their love for the nation, and elders of the community should not supersede Hindutva.

The letter further says that how come the thought that ‘Kings and kingdoms engaged in Roti-beti vyavahar, came into mind of Rupala Saheb? Even a child who has reached the fifth grade knows about the marriage of Jodha Akbar; the responsibility should lie with the NCERT board, not Rupala.

Looking at Rupala’s past, he has never spoken against the Kshatriyas; instead, he has always praised the community. Several videos supporting this can be found on the internet, the letter further stated.

In the fifth point the letter reads, “A Hindutva leader with a spotless 30-35 year career is being treated like this? Just imagine the dilemma of Rupala Saheb, who must be questioning how ‘kshatriyas,’ the essence of Hindutva, are opposing him?”

“Even if he has made a mistake, he belongs to us; believing this, we should overlook his errors. Society calls him Bapu; let us show him some generosity,” the letter stated seeking forgiveness for Rupala.

The letter concluded with a call to Kshatriya youth saying,”Every Kshatriya youth should heed the thoughts of Bhagwatji and contribute to the establishment of Hindu Rashtra.” DeshGujarat
