Gandhinagar: Whether his remark that has made Kshatriya community angry, his biggest mistake in the life? When asked this, Rajkot Lok Sabha seat BJP candidate and Union minister Parshottam Rupala said “yes”. Rupala replied this immediately without the delay of even a single second.

Rupala was interacting with five editors at TV9 Gujarati news channel’s Jodhpur based studio today in Ahmedabad in a TV programme ‘N-5’.

Rupala when asked whether he would only contest Rajkot Lok Sabha seat, firmly said “yes”. When asked about about his remark which is dominating the political discourse in Gujarat for last over week, Rupala said it was like utterance of Nindrasan instead of Indrasan.

When asked about his bonhomie with Kshatriya community, Rupala shared number of examples of Kshatriya leaders with whom he worked, and whom he elevated in his political career. Rupala maintained his stand that the decision on candidature is taken by party leadership. When the editors admired Rupala for agreeing to face the media at such a juncture, he said he also visited the offices of more than once newspapers during the ongoing controversy over his remark for which he has tendered apologies for more than once.
