Surat: Due to derailment of wagons of goods train at Palghar yard, UP line of Mumbai – Surat section has been affected. Senior railway officers are at site, monitoring the ongoing restoration work. More than 300 railwaymen at the site are ensuring restoration of track at the earliest. Besides, 4 JCBs, 2 Poclains, 2 Cranes and 4 machines, are working to restore the affected line.

The up line of the affected Mumbai-Surat section at Palghar Yard will be restored soon. However, several trains are affected, with some being cancelled, some rescheduled, and some partially cancelled
