Ahmedabad: Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (SRFDCL), an arm of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has invited proposals through a new tender today to develop a covered or semi-covered restaurant on the fifth floor (top floor) of Riverfront House. The plan includes creating the restaurant and renting it out for business operations.

Riverfront/SRFDCL House is located between Gandhi Bridge and Nehru Bridge on the west side of the Sabarmati River. It is the first building that has come up right on the reclaimed land of Sabarmati Riverfront. Located near Vallabh Sadan, the building has offices of SRFDCL, Janmarg, Town Planning Department, and Urban Planning Department on separate floors. Mexicano By The Bay restaurant is located on its ground floor.

With the addition of the proposed restaurant on the top floor, visitors will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the Sabarmati River and the vibrant cityscape of Ahmedabad. The tender specifies a minimum monthly rental fee of ₹22,38,080 for the restaurant.
