Garba organizers in Vadodara cover entire ground with plastic to protect it from rain

Vadodara: The organizers of Karelibagh Adukiyo Dadukiyo Garba in the city have covered the entire Garba ground with plastic to protect it from water in case of rain.
As Navratri approaches in just a few days, Khelaiyas across Gujarat are excited to play Garba during the 9-day festival. Vadodara is known for its vibrant Garba celebrations, and organizers across the city have completed over 50% of preparations on the Garba grounds. However, the monsoon is still active and bringing rain to parts of the state. To safeguard against the rain, the organizers have spent around Rs. 75,000 to cover the entire ground with plastic. Dinesh Yadav, the organizer of Adukiyo Dadukiyo Garba, said, “This is a festival of worshiping Maa, so Maa will take care of everything; we have no doubt about it. The rainfall forecast is until the 30th, and all the preparations are done. In case of rain, we have covered the whole ground with plastic.” DeshGujarat
