For the first time AMC’s Ahmedabad Flower Show 2025 shall have VIP tickets

Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) run Flower Show will be inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on 1st January 2025. The ticket for those above 12 years of age will be Rs. 70 from Monday to Friday and Rs. 100 on weekends. For the first time, the AMC has decided on a VIP time period during the morning from 9 to 10 am and evening from 10 to 11 pm, for which the ticket fee will be Rs. 500 per person.
The AMC will spend Rs. 15 crore on this edition of the flower show. In 2024, nearly 10 lakh people had visited the flower show, resulting in Rs. 6.52 crore income for AMC in addition to income generated by renting the stalls and advertisements. The expenditure in the last edition was Rs. 11.44 crore, which is likely to be Rs. 15 crore in the 2025 edition.
More than 15 lakh plants will be exhibited in the flower show, including over 30 types of exotic flowers. Along with food stalls, there will also be nursery stalls. Among the sculptures made by flowers will be a lotus, garba-playing women, Olympic rings, peacock, Hulk, Doraemon, Kung Fu Panda, lion and tiger, fighting bull, three monkeys of Gandhi ji, and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.
