HM Amit Shah flies kite, celebrates Uttarayan in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah celebrated Makar Sankranti with the residents of Shantiniketan Society in the Memnagar area of the city. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also participated in the celebration alongside the Union Home Minister.
On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, the members of the society decorated Shantiniketan Society with colorful kites and rangoli. The women and children of the society warmly welcomed Union Home Minister Amit Shah. During the event, the dignitaries were greeted with drumbeats and cultural dances.
HM Shah enjoyed flying a kite from a rooftop, along with his wife Sonalben Shah. Both the Union Minister and the Chief Minister wished everyone a happy Makar Sankranti.
The event was attended by Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, local party leaders, councillors, and AMC officials. Later today, he will attend two more Patang Mahotsavs in the New Ranip and Sabarmati areas of the city. DeshGujarat
