Ahmedabad: The annual budget of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) for the year 2025-26 has been approved by the standing committee of the civic body. The ₹15,502 crore budget includes the development of various sports complexes, with planning aligned with the 2036 Olympics. Notably, advance taxpayers will receive a 12% rebate instead of the previous 10%.

The draft budget of ₹14,001 crore for 2025-26 was presented by the former Municipal Commissioner on February 6. Today, Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani presented the final budget, which has been approved by the standing committee of AMC. With an additional ₹1,501 crore, the final budget for the upcoming financial year stands at ₹15,502 crore. DeshGujarat
