AAP leader booked in Surat over extortion and threat allegations

Surat: A police complaint has been registered against Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Gujarat State Secretary Ram Dhaduk at the Saroli Police Station, sparking a political stir in the city. Dhaduk has been accused of extortion, using abusive language, and issuing death threats.
According to the FIR, Nilesh Vipulbhai Pansuriya filed the complaint alleging that Dhaduk demanded ₹10,000 in connection with an electricity-related dispute. Following a disagreement over the transaction, Dhaduk allegedly hurled abuses and threatened to kill him.
The complainant also submitted an audio clip purportedly capturing the heated exchange, which has since gone viral on social media. Based on the complaint, Saroli Police have registered an FIR against Dhaduk and launched an investigation into the allegations.
The incident has triggered widespread discussion in local political circles, and the matter is now under police scrutiny. DeshGujarat
