Ahmedabad: As Ahmedabad prepares to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games, the city’s final budget for 2026-27 outlines a transformation into a global “Sports City”. Central to this localized development is the proposal for a dedicated cricket ground in the Thaltej ward.

The Standing Committee of the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has specifically allocated Rs. 2.00 crore for the development of a modern cricket ground in TP 301 of the Thaltej ward, located in the North-West Zone.
