Congress assigns responsibilities to four joint prabharis appointed for Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Congress party has assigned responsibilities of various regions of the state to joint-incharges. Varsha Gaikwad has been assigned the responsibility of Ahmedabad city and North Gujarat’s 48 seats while Rajiv Satav has been assigned 45 seats of 11 districts in Saurashtra and Kutch region. Harshvardhan Sapkale has been given responsibility of seats in South Gujarat’s 45 seats. Jitu Patvari has been handed over responsibility of Ahmedabad district, Botad, Bhavnagar, Mahisagar, Panchmahal and Dahod district seats. All four joint incharges will meet party’s district, taluka, booth level workers and report to party’s Gujarat incharge Ashok Gehlot and national vice president Rahul Gandhi directly. Gujarat is going to have general election of assembly later this year, possibly in the month of December if on schedule.
