Gandhinagar: Ahmedabad city Congress chief Himmatsingh Patel and Gujarat Congress spokesperson Amit Nayak entered into a verbal argument over Nayak’s act of removing BJP slogans on a wall and sharing the video of the same.
Gujarat Congress spokesperson Amit Nayak shared a video of him removing the BJP slogan from a wall. The city Congress chief Himmatsingh Patel however disapproved of this act and said if today Congress would start removing BJP slogans from walls, tomorrow BJP would do the same against Congress slogans. Himmatsingh added that such actions should be avoided. He further added that such actions would not bring any gain for the Congress party.
It’s worth noting that the ruling BJP has started a Statewide campaign of putting up posters in favor of the party’s campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Large sticker style posters are put up on walls across the State as part of this campaign which was initiated by State party chief CR Patil. DeshGujarat
