ACB Gujarat nabs 2 RTO agents in bribery case in Palanpur

Banaskantha: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat today nabbed two RTO agents in Palanpur in a bribery case involving the sum of Rs. 3300.
According to the details of the case, the complainant in the case wanted to obtain a learner’s license, for which he contacted the accused RTO agent Akshay Kumar Prajapati, a resident of Chandisar village. Prajapati filled out the online form for the complainant and collected the government fees of Rs. 900. Later, Akshay, along with another accused RTO agent Akil Hussain Salim Hussain Syed (resident of Anandanagar), demanded Rs. 3300 from the complainant to get him the license without appearing in the computer test.
As the complainant was not willing to pay the bribe, he contacted the ACB. ACB, in a trap set up, caught the accused agents red-handed. The accused have been detained, and further proceedings are underway. DeshGujarat
