Bhuj: The district administration of Kutch has started yet another drive against illegal buildings on government lands.
Three Madresa buildings that had come up on the government land were demolished as part of this drive in the border villages of Jam Kunariya and Kuran in the Khavda belt of the border district.
The buildings were demolished in the presence of police and local Mamlatdar. The Madresas were built on the government land at full scale without any fear of the administration’s action against such encroachments.
On earlier occasions, six illegal Madresa buildings were demolished in Kutch and all illegal encroachments between the Khavda and India Bridge were also removed. 36 commercial structures and 6 Madresas were demolished. DeshGujarat
