Aircraft’s wing suffers damage at Surat airport; Another plane arranged

Surat: An Air India Express international flight from Sharjah to Surat faced a minor accident at the Surat airport late on Thursday night as its wing hit a stationary excavator parked at the parallel taxiway of airport. None of the 160 passengers was injured, but the passengers ready for the journey to Sharjah in return flight had to wait for about four hours before they were boarded to another plane.
