Police nab two of menacing Chiya gang in Khwajanagar, Surat

Surat: Several video clips of Khwajanagar based Chiya gang have gone viral recently. In the backdrop of the latest incident of violence by Chiya gang, Police nabbed Rajik alias Kaliya Samad Sheikh and Rojana alias Saddam alias Chhotu Usman Saiyed. Police also took out a procession of the notorious gangster nabbed in Khwajanagar.

At 6.30 pm on Monday, Chiya and his aides entered into fight with Aslam Sheikh who was returning from Namaz in the mosque. Chiya, his brother Bhuru and aides Rojana alias Saddam and Rajik alias Kaliya attacked Aslam with sword, stick and axe. Aslam was hit with stick. Abrar Kureshi was passing through the street was also attacked with knife. Several vehicles were also damaged.

The locals joined by a social worker handed over a video footage of the incident to Police, following which Rajik and Rojana were nabbed. The area falls under Salabatpura police station. DeshGujarat
